The Grand Challenges project is a study aiming to learn about the surgeons who will use robotic devices in clinical practice. The objective is to test new methods to uncover and prioritize unmet clinical needs (Grand Challenges) and compare results to current practice in medical device design and development. The results will complement the MRD Lab's existing expertise in robotic and smart tool technology and help to direct future research. Project being worked on by Cory Schaffhausen.
